Winners for week of 04/24 and New alphabet give away

We hope everyone has had a great week so far and will be able to enjoy some great weather this weekend!

Today we are starting a new alphabet giveaway of the Brookman Applique font. This will be Caplital letters only and each will fit in the 4×4 hoop.

With time constraints due to remodeling and moving we will only be offering the letters in PES format, however if you need a different format, there is a great format converter called Wilcom Trusizer you can downloand here

Once you have downloaded the program there are a lot of great tutorials you can find on their website.

Here are the instructions they have given to change a format:

To convert files to another format in Wilcom TrueSizer do the following:

  1. Open Wilcom TrueSizer.
  2. Select File > Open. The Open dialog box will appear.
  3. From the “Files of Type” dropdown list at the bottom select the format of the original file such as Tajima .DST.
  4. Browse to the location of the file and select the file.
  5. Click Open to open the file.
  6. Once the file is open select File > SaveAs. The SaveAs dialog will appear.
  7. Browse to the location where you want to save the file
  8. From the “Save as type” dropdown list at the bottom select the format that you want to convert to such as Brother .PES.
  9. Click Save.

Your file will now be saved in the required format.

Hopefully this will help everyone but if you have questions after looking through the tutorials, please don’t hesitate to ask
